Jimbo Jones says:

Google just announced that their certs will count as a 4-year degree when applying to their job postings

Kelvin Gomez says:

I didn’t want to take this cert but the college is giving me 12 credits because of it. That is $50-$150 (if you complete it in 1-3 months) vs several thousands of dollars. It’s very useful for me since I do not care about getting a job with it, just wanted college credits to finish my BS degree faster

Ed Powers says:

According to your logic, I should not apply to any data science jobs because none explicitly are looking for physics background. Oops I actually do have a data science job. You clearly don’t understand how finding a job works. Any additional education can only help, not hurt. For $50/month? Great intro to the field.

Justin Gabbard says:

I just finished with the 4th course of this program and I have to say, so far this has blown past what I got out of my Comptia A+ and Comptia Net+ certs and knowledge that I had prior to this program, this has expanded my knowledge and confidence just in Linux alone 1000%

Omar Masood says:

for those asking how to get into the IT field, this course is good for info, but employers don't recognize it as much as something like A+. Eventually, maybe. I got the A+ cert, took a training on Network+ from Mike Meyers (he's great), and then studied Security+. Mind you, I also had no prior experience in the IT field but knew I wanted to get into Security. I made sure my fundamentals were strong and on display during job interviews, and now I am a junior Security analyst. I plan to actually sit for the Security+ cert by July. Hardest part is getting an interview. I recommend connecting with recruiters. Once you get that interview and a recruiter is backing you, just do your best to show your fundamentals are strong. Companies know you're a junior level. They won't ask things that you shouldn't know. Best of luck to all

Lucia Lozano says:

How long does the google IT cert takes to be completed? I just started yesterday and they said 8 months?

justin upshaw says:

This course was all over the place, class 3 has someones shadow walking thru the back ground during a recording 🙄 I think I counted 4 times a correction was put on screen that was exactly what was said in the video. The commercial to this said the guy took 5 months to finish 😂 I took my time and finished in 3 weeks because I work and have a life. This cert was a joke and a shit smeer on Googles name.

Noisy Boy says:

Jonathan Brandon says:

what Certification should I get to land a entry level IT support job ?

Kianfox says:

I'm going through the google certification with the intention of getting the Comptia A+ afterward.
I feel like the google Cert is just an easy way to go about consuming the brunt of the knowledge before going in to the deeper stuff required by the Comptia A+.Also, You can get a sweet dual Google IT and A+ credential badge to use on your resume!

Mr. Yan Lucena says:

CompTIA are as valuable as an MBA. Hint: MBAs are a scam

zubaydee says:

Google certificate is great! But it's not useful everywhere as much as CompTIA, Also what is confusing me that even after studying google IT I have to interview the CompTIA A+ exam objectives to make sure I know everything that will be covered! So, my opinion is cut the road and study CompTIA.

Spencer Shaw says:

I don't you appreciate you knocking my A+ cert bro

jflores85 says:

I had an a+ back in 2016 and could not find a job. The jobs I could find kept me as a call center rep because it paid more.

Zubiar Nasrat says:

hello how much we must pay for complete course and certification ?
