Re: Tech Support. 1st thing I always do is ( after briefly stating my question) ask for a Name (get them to spell it out!) and a Call Reference Number for the support call. That way they can't just 'fob you off' as a "1st time fix!" They have to follow it it in order to be paid by Adobe 'et al'!!

About the white balance segment:
I know it may not be really necessary, but if you really want to do it: how would you get a correct white balance in a landscape or cityscape scene??
Those color cards or cubes are almost useless… Unless you make a real tight shot or macro or something.

As I said I know it s not necessary… Just curious if it could even be done.

In general you are right of cause. As long as you have a calibrated monitor so you know what it really looks like… White balance is a creative choise.

Adobe refuse to support a product after 2 years of it's release date. That is what I experienced with Photoshop Elements 10.

I had the same problem runing multiple monitors in windows 7. The newer computer is on 8.1 i no longer have that problem. it maybe and os or os preferences problem?

I had no problems to get in touch with adobe, when I had an issue some time ago. I gave them my number, they called me back real quick – and they fixed the problem. European experience though.

Also all my customer-contact is based on all of your advice through time. I've subscribed to you for a long time, and you keep on giving me more material to expand my pro-tog company and workflow.
